Distinguished Colleagues and Senior Colleagues,

It is my singular privilege to welcome all members of this great association to October. Indeed God has been faithful and has brought us this far.

As we begin the new month, we do not lose sight of our promises to deliver excellent leadership and proffer innovative solutions to lingering issues that affect Doctors.

This new month begins with the Celebration of the Anniversary of our Nation’s independence. We celebrate our heroes who devoted themselves to building one united and independent Nigeria.

Today, we have an equal stake; being heroes in our small circles, and saving one life at a time, even in sub-optimal conditions.

Later, this month we would mark the Physician’s week across the Nation. Overall, the month would focus on stimulating the consciousness of our colleagues about our role in Nation building and governance.

We encourage all to remain expectant and ride with us on this journey together.
